TiHo-VetFestival: new, big, colorful
On 29 and 30 August 2025, the TiHo clinics will be hosting a major continuing education event and an attractive supporting program for veterinarians, veterinary technicians and animal caretakers under the motto “Educate, Celebrate, Fair Networking”.
On the last weekend of August this year, the Bünteweg campus of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) Foundation will be transformed into a place of learning, encounters and music: at the first TiHo-VetFestival, veterinarians, animal caretakers, veterinary assistants and students will come together to continue their education, network and celebrate together.
The motto: Train, Celebrate, Fair Networking!
The TiHo-VetFestival is the first event of its kind in Germany. It combines a veterinary congress with a festival – a concept that focuses on enthusiasm for veterinary medicine, team well-being and sustainability. The TiHo is creating a new format for further training with this event. It is an invitation to continue your education, gain new impulses and at the same time strengthen the sense of community in the industry. In addition to a high-quality training program, participants can expect live music, street food and a relaxed social program for professionals, friends and families.
Top-class lectures and interactive workshops
The TiHo clinics have jointly put together a challenging program with over 27 interactive intensive workshops and a two-day main program for small animals and pets, horses, pigs, small ruminants and cattle. The topics range from current veterinary practice and care to aspects of veterinary well-being.
Special attention is paid to veterinary professionals: a separate one-day training program is offered for animal keepers and veterinary assistants.
The lectures, seminars and workshops will take place at the Klinikum am Bünteweg. Directly opposite, on the festival meadow, the supporting program awaits with culinary highlights, live music and space for exchange – until late in the evening.
